Who We Are
Tang’s Alterations has been in the business of alterations in Northern VA since 1999. Since then, Tang’s has expanded to include a variety of services ranging from bridal to bespoke clothing.
We are not only your local alteration shop that can assist with repairs, casual attire, uniforms, suit, and more but is also your one-stop complete bridal experience in Northern VA. Our mission at Tang’s is to create a stress-free memorable experience, whether it’s an alteration on casual attire to your wedding dress!
Tang's Alterations opened as a full-service alterations shop in the Canterbury Shopping Center on Sudley Road in Manassas, VA. Starting with just 1 employee, Xiao-Yin (Tang) herself, the workshop was only 1,200 sq. ft. By the end of the year, Xiao-Yin had increased her staff to 5 people working in the shop!
Xiao-Yin joined the Rotary Club in Manassas and met Kenny, who joined as a partner of Tang’s Alterations.
Tang's Alterations moved locations within the same shopping center and doubled the workshop space to 2,400 sq ft.
Xiao-Yin purchased the black and white house on Sudley Road with dreams of making it into a bridal studio.
Tang's began carrying wedding dresses by Maggie Sottero Designs at the alterations shop.
Tang's Bridal Studio opened on Sudley Road! The wedding dresses moved up the road to the bridal studio and brides began finding the dress of their dreams at the new studio!

Tang's Alterations expanded and renovated the shop, adding a private bridal alterations and amen’s bespoke area. The workshop space was now 5,000 sq ft, quadrupling in size from when Tang’s Alterations first opened!
Tang’s Bridal | Alterations | Bespoke has 17 staff members who are working to create a stress-free, memorable experience for each of our customers. More exciting things for Tang’s are to come!
